Mini Coopers have 3 types of scheduled service:

  1. Oil Change
  2. Inspection I
  3. Inspection II

You can check your service interval display located in the center of the speedometer. It will notify you if you need your Mini Cooper serviced and which type of service you need. Each time you start you Mini it will display the mileage until your next service is needed.

If  you see a flashing display, and your mini is showing negative miles, that is the amount miles you have exceeded your service appointment by.

The Mini Cooper services come in this order,

  1. Oil change
  2. Inspection I
  3. Oil Change
  4. Inspection II

Inspection I is known as a Mini Cooper Minor service. Inspection II is known as a Mini Cooper Major service.
