2015 Audi Maintenance Schedule for All Models

Audi’s maintenance intervals for their 2015 models are not written like the intervals above. Please take a look at the maintenance item to see when the checks should be done. All maintenance checks are for all 2015 models unless stated otherwise.

  • Engine Oil must be changed and the filter replaced at 5,000 miles and every 10,000 miles thereafter.
  • AdBlue fluid must be filled completely with fresh fluid at maximum capacity (24 liters) and adapt information for the tank under guided fault finding after filling fluid. This should be performed at 5,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter for Q 3.0L TDI, A6 3.0L TDI, A7 3.0L TDI, Q7 3.0L TDI, and A8 3.0L TDI. For Q5 3.0L TDI, A6 3.0L TDI and A7 3.0L TDI, Q7 3.0L TDI and A8 3.0L TDI should have this done at 15,000 miles and every 40,000 miles thereafter. For Q5 3.0L TDI, A6 3.0L TDI and A7 3.0L TDI, Q7 3.0L TDI and A8 3.0L TDI, this should be done at 35,000 miles and every 40,000 miles thereafter.
  • The cooling system must be checked for all models at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter. Add coolant if needed.
  • Check engine compartment for leaks at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • On-board diagnosis for flex fuel vehicles only. This should be done at 5,000 miles and every 10,000 miles thereafter.
  • Check the chassis for corrosion and paint damage. This should be done from the inside and out with the doors, hood, and trunk lids open. Perform at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • Battery terminals must be checked for corrosion and cleaned if needed. Mechanics should also check if the housing is properly mounted and do not suffer from any type of damage. Replace if necessary. The acid level should also be checked if it can be seen through the housing. Fill if needed. This should be performed on all vehicles except the Q5 hybrid. Intervals are as follows: 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • Small (12-volt) side battery (for Q5 hybrid only) must be checked for corrosion. The housing should be checked if it is properly mounted and does not suffer from any type of damage. Replace if necessary. This should be done first at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • Dust and pollen filter must be replaced at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • Spark plugs for all vehicles with the 4.0L V8 TFSI, A8 W12, all vehicles with 2.0L TFSI (except Flex Fuel engines) must be replaced at 35,000 miles or 6 years, whichever occurs first. This should be done after every 40,000 miles or 6 years whichever comes first.
  • Spark plugs replacement must be done at 55,000 miles only. (vehicles with the 1.8L (A3), 3.0L V6 TFSI, 4.2L V8 FSI and 5.2L V10 FSI engines)
  • Spark plugs replacement for 2.0L TFSI Flex Fuel engines at 35,000 miles only.
  • Power steering fluid must be checked. Add if necessary. This is for A8, Q7 only and should be done at 35,000 miles only.
  • Air cleaner housing and filter replacement at 55,000 miles only for all vehicles except RS 5, S6, S7, RS 7, A8 3.0L V6 TFSI, A8 3.0L V6 TDI, A8 4.0L V8 TFSI and TTS. For RS 5, S6, S7, A8 3.0L V6 TDI, A8 3.0L V6 TFSI, A8 4.0L V8 TFSI, TTS and RS 7, this should be done at 35,000 miles and every 40,000 miles thereafter. For RS 5, this should be done at 15,000 miles and every 40,000 miles thereafter.
  • Ribbed V belt and tensioner must be checked and replaced if needed. This job should only be done for the R8 Coupe and R8 Spyder at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • Ribbed V belt for all other models must be checked if still in good condition. Tension of belt drive needs to be checked as well. This should be done at 75,000 miles only.
  • Compressor drive (front belt) replacement at 55,000 miles and 115,000 miles for vehicles with the 3.0L V6 TFSI.
  • Snow screen for air cleaner will need cleaning for A4, S4, allroad, A5, A5 Cabriolet, S5, S5 Cabriolet, Q5, SQ5 and Q5 at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • Fuel filter replacement for A6 3.0L TDI, A7 3.0L TDI, A8 3.0L TDI, Q5 3.0L TDI and Q7 3.0L TDI at 15, 000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) must be checked for ash loading after the first 115,000 miles after DPF replacement. Replace if needed. This procedure is for A6 3.0L TDI, A7 3.0L TDI, A8 3.0L TDI, Q5 3.0L TDI and Q7 3.0L TDI only.
  • The plenum panel’s water drain must be checked and drained and cleaned if needed. Perform at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • Check for tire pressure, damage, and wear. Reset Tire Pressure Monitoring System at 5,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • Check for tire damage, wear, and pressure. Renewal date for tire repair must be done. Reset Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). These should be done at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • Rotate tires and reset TPMS at 5,000 miles only.
  • Wiper blades must be checked and replaced if needed. This check should be done at 5,000 miles and every 10,000 miles thereafter.
  • Check the adjustment and function of wiper, washer, and headlight washer. Add fluid if needed. This should be done at 5,000 miles and every 10,000 miles thereafter.
  • Interior lights must be checked at 35,000 miles and every 40,000 miles thereafter.
  • Hazard lights, blinkers, high and low beams, parking lights and fog lights must go through a routine check starting at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter. Rear lighting such as brake lights, taillights, rear fog lights, license plate lights, blinkers and hazard lights, and back-up lights must be checked at the same interval.
  • Service reminder display reset must be performed at 5,000 miles and every 10,000 miles thereafter.
  • Check horn if it is functioning. This should be done at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • Lubricate door hinges and straps for Q7, TT, TTS, R8 Coupe and R8 Spyder at 15,000 miles and every 40,000 miles thereafter. For all other models, this should be done for door hinges, locks, hood latch, and straps at 35,000 miles and every 40,000 miles thereafter.
  • Hood lid hinges must be lubricated for R8 Coupe, R8 Spyder, TT and TTS at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • Clean guide rails and lubricate sunroof systems at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • Lubricate front latch for Cabriolet roof at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter. (A3 Cabriolet, A5 Cabriolet and S5 Cabriolet only)
  • Check brake system for damage, leaks, and fluid level. Pad thickness must be checked as well. This should be done at 5, 000 and every 10,000 miles thereafter.
  • Check brake discs for thickness at 35,000 miles and every 40,000 miles thereafter.
  • Check for damage and leaks in the exhaust system at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • Check front and rear axle for excessive play, check dust seals on tie rod ends and ball joints at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • Check drive shaft boots at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • Take a look at automatic transmission and final drive if there are any leaks. This should be done at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • Check manual transmission and final drive for leaks at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • DSG/S tronic change MTF oil for the gear box. This is for the RS 5 only and should be done at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • DSG/S tronic – replace transmission filter element for your vehicle’s clutch hydraulics and change ATF oil for A3, S4, S5, S5 Cabriolet, S6, S7, RS 5, TT, TTS, R8 Coupe and R8 Spyder at 35,000 miles and every 40,000 miles thereafter.
  • Change ATF for tiptronic gear box for the Q5 hybrid. This should be performed at 35,000 miles and every 40,000 miles thereafter.
  • Rear sport differential check must be done. Change ATF for clutch hydraulics and differential oil at 35,000 miles and every 40,000 miles thereafter. (RS 5 and RS 7 only)
  • Check underbody for damage and leaks at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter.
  • A road test to check engine performance should be done at 15,000 miles and every 20,000 miles thereafter. The following should also be checked based on interval above: clutch, braking, steering, wheel bearings, wheels, horn, and manual/automatic transmission, hybrid vehicles (electric drive for operational readiness).
  • The timing belt needs to be replaced at 110,000 miles on TTS. Condition of its tensioning system, dampening pulleys, and idler pulleys must be checked and replaced if necessary.
  • Brake fluid must be replaced every 2 years regardless of mileage.
  • For A5/S5 Cabriolet and R8 Spyder, the cloth top and rollover protection must be checked every 2 years regardless of mileage.
  • AdBlue Fluid must be replaced every 4 years unless filled within the last 4 years. This is applicable to the following models: (Q7 3.0L TDI, A8 3.0L TDI, A6 3.0L TDI, A7 3.0L TDI and Q5 3.0L TDI
  • The A8’s crash active headrest must be checked every 2 years.

2014 Audi Maintenance Schedule for All Models

Please take a look at the maintenance item to see when the checks should be done for your vehicle. All maintenance checks are for all 2014 models unless stated otherwise.
